    SR9 compared to 9mm M&P, XDM and G19?

Since you don't have experience with SR9 or M&P, I suggest you rent these or feel them out. These are likely the ones that are going to fit best into your hand. I especially like them in the compact size (SR9c and M&P 9c); they are so light and small you will be very motivated to conceal-carry.

    Help me pick a P220

Non-rail P220 Definitely check out a regular non-rail P220. It's a very popular gun for a reason. The beavertail doesn't serve any function, and non-rail sigs are lighter and feel better in the hand than railed versions.

    Put to the test

How about a 12 gauge shotgun? Easier to manipulate while you have the cobwebs in your head.

Shot My New SIG SP2022 40S&W Today

Congrats on the SIG. They really are great pistols. There is even a compact SP2022, but currently only available in Europe. I love compact guns and hope that this compact SP2022 soon becomes available in the US.

In Depth Study of Gun Lubricants?

It's definitely gun dependent. You can use oil that doesn't evaporate like M-Pro on polymer guns like SR9c. Or preferably gun-grease like slide-glide on full rail guns like the Sigs. Rem-oil and CLP seem to evaporate and thus offer no protection, in my experience.

    Sig 239 Questions

Sigs are great combat weapons, so no you don't really need to replace parts or springs. I've seen recommendation for replacing recoil spring every 5000 rounds. All that is very cheap, try Midway USA. You don't need the SRT, the classic trigger is perfect, I prefer it. Get snap caps and...

    which .40 S&W is better?

For 40 S&W, don't overlook: P229--heavier frame and full grip make a difference (especially on long range sessions) M&P 40c and SR40c --- concealability and incredibly great feel in the hand (triggers are very different)

    SIG: German or US?

The Kimber guy is the big marking point, diehard fans just don't buy new SIGs anymore, just old ones. Nonetheless I own P229 dark elite and it is absolutely flawless. I do think the originals with no rail or beavertail are much better in terms of looks, and balance. Also all the...

Ever Ankle Carry an M&P Compact?

Try a hybrid holster. M&P compact is a rather small gun. The crossbreed type holsters are great, you can definitely sit all day and not be uncomfortable with the gun and holster there. Another option is pocket carry (in a holster) an LCP. That slim little gun disappears in any pocket.

    Any suggestions???

I like that the kydex shell is already canted. How many notches for adjusting the ride depth on the clips? I definitely don't want the gun riding too high.

Sig P229 Elite Dark Range Report

Do you usually shoot point-of-aim? I have the same pistol and became very accurate after a bit of dedicated practice. I didn't even know the sights were adjustable. I'm not aiming high or low (up to 15 yards).

    Any suggestions???

Lone Rider is a pretty good name. Lone Rider Kydex holster sounds good too. I recently bought one of these and they are great, nice if I could pick up the holster and belt combo in one place, I'm sure I'm not the only one.

    Glock 26 vs Ruger SR9c (w/pics)

Great pics. In my opinion you don't need the pinky extension on the SR9c. The thinness of the Ruger SR9c is the best feature. It makes it easy to shoot with great accuracy. Plus the trigger breaks right away.

Practice Practice Hey man try shooting from a stabilized position, bench rest or sandbag; if you can't get this try different stances and grips. Or let someone else shoot it to see if its really the gun. Probably not the sights, those are rarely the problem.
