SIG P-238, Is it fussy about ammo? Failure to feed/fire ssues at the range

When/if I found myself having issues, I would use only one magazine, and several different ammo brands/types. I would also strip/clean it several times during this exercise. Take notes. Which ammo was worse? Which was best? After I narrowed that down, I'd take the best ammo, and feed it through...

    For M&P lovers!

I have a M&P 40 and I can't shoot it to save my life. After much thought and research, I've narrowed it down to the trigger. I had the pistol shelved for almost 6 months, but tonight I decided to buy the APEX M&P Duty/Carry Action Enhancement Kit. Hopefully that will change my mind. I'm afraid...

    Ruger SR40 durability?

I can't speak to the 40, but I have a SR9c and a friend has a SR9. Neither of us have had any problems what-so-ever. My SR9c is a daily carry with about 2000rds through it. My only complaint is the safety. There have been a few times where my thumb has slipped off it during drills without...

    CZ-75 Issue

My M&P 40 does this. I rather like it. Just need to keep your finger off the trigger (that should be a 'duh' but you never know with some people).

Ruger SR9c as a carry weapon.

Thanks again for all the positive responses. I feel more confident than ever that using this as my carry piece is a good, safe decision. On a side note, can anyone recommend offhand a decent ITW holster? I'm more inclined towards a Kydex hard type, but because I've not carried before I'm...

Ruger SR9c as a carry weapon.

Yeah, I carry inside the belt. As for pocket carry, I'd steal the wife's Kahr. I was just wondering if anyone had any serious complaints about carrying the SR9c. Googling brings up about 50/50 love hate. I like mine. Have no complaints. Cheers.

Ruger SR9c as a carry weapon.

Thanks folks. I was just a bit leery, because I've read complaint threads about reliability. However, I've not experienced that myself, as mine has fed everything I've crammed into the mag. I just wanted to make sure that for the size/weight, that I was carrying something trustworthy and...

Ruger SR9c as a carry weapon.

Any complaints or arguments against? I own the weapon, I'm comfortable and accurate shooting it. It's smaller than my M&P .40, and seems like a decent carry option for my CPL. Just wondered if anyone had pros/cons with carrying this specific weapon. Thanks. (Never had a problem with...
