    Ammo Registration

Whatever happened to this bill? A friend discovered undated mention of it as "20 states signed onto a new Bill to stop mail order of bulk ammo"

    Double Triple Trigger

A friend was assured by a contact that he had fired an AR configured to fire three shots on the pull - like the original M4 burst trigger - AND three shots on the release; six shots per go. We were doubtful, but the contact is the local big shot Karate Master over my friend's classes, so he...

Lee Inline Bullet Feeder on Dillon Super 1050

Will the cheap Lee Inline Bullet Feeder work on a Super 1050? Clearance looks tight under the case feeder bowl. I guess one could shorten the bullet magazine tubes but I would not want to get below 100 = 17 .45ACP in each of six tubes. I got no response on Benos.

    Pawn Stars Russian

Pawn Stars Rips Off America got a S&W Old Model Russian, engraved, nickel and remnants of gold wash on cylinder. Unlike most items, they were not fed background and did not kno what they were looking at. Their Gun Guy mansplained it. Of course they just had to shoot it. It fired, even set...

    New Primer Company, Again.

I read on Benos of White River Energetics primers, made in Arkansas, company address in Ohio. Google found a review on a New Zealand board, also one in Arkansas plugging the home team. But my credibility is strained when I read that What can I use them there Medium primers in?

You Asked For It, You Got It

Frequently posted, "If you are going to carry a gun, you need training." Well, if you live in New Jersey, you are going to need substantial training and practice. They are putting in a new curriculum with a tough shooting qualification. I bet it is someplace's police qualifier. 1 to 25 yards...

    Decline of the American Rifleman

I was leafing through the new August American Rifleman and noticed a couple of clangers right off. In seven pages of plugs for Rossi firearms, the picture caption showing a S&W type hammer block calls it a "transfer bar." Strangely, the text gets it right. Likewise a piece on the Colt Police...

    Minority Report

I am pretty regular on the gun boards, moreso lately whilst convalescing from back surgery. I think that an Internet Report on a new gun or product by a paying customer is valuable to the potential customer, farcebook infoolencers less so but at least more than a company press release. But I...

    Strange Chemistry

Last month I set about to clean my SM Ace, which cokes up its floating chamber and barrel chamber with use. So I dropped the barrel and floating chamber in my tall olive jar full of "benchrest blend" 50:50 Shooters Choice and Kroil with the intention of leaving them to soak for three days which...

    Powder Valley Site

Has Powder Valley really truly changed their site from PowderValleyInc.com to PowderValley.com like the e-mail says? That is what comes up if you enter Inc or Google. But I am suspicious of brand hijacking.

    Kimber Goes Wide

    Kimber is now showing the KDS9C, a 15 shooter somewhat 1911ish. Looks a lot like a Wilson EDC9X. https://www.kimberamerica.com/kds9c-silver-9mm

    Pre- S.H.O.T. Show Introductions.

We have the Savage, we have the DWX (at last) here at the end of the year. The Equaizer before that, and the Prodigy not long ago. No doubt there are similar new rifles, shotguns, and equipment. So why the rush? The SHOT Show used to be the venue for new products, but it seems to have lost...

    Scissor Overhaul.

Maybe not weapons, except in some old drawing room murder mysteries, but I bet somebody here can help. Where could I get Mom's old Boker brand scissors refurbished? The screw joint is loose and the blades dull. But they are a heirloom and I would like them to be more useful.

    Expansion Industries Primers

I sat through a couple of mumble tube videos on PF about Expansion Industries startup of primer manufacture in Texas. It all boiled down to: "We will be making primers Real Soon Now." and then "We will be making primers Sometime." With a lot of "We will have real good prices by some...

    Pocket Carry

If you pocket carry, do not have anything else in that pocket, and use a pocket holster. After discovery without blowing it out with a bullet, you can now make jokes about using your polygon barrel as a nut wrench. Seen on 1911forum.

You Asked for it, You Got It; .30 Super Carry.

Just seen on S&W board, a new iteration of the .32 hideout pistol. http://smith-wessonforum.com/smith-wesson-m-p-pistols/667852-newest-caliber-ever.html#post141351086 Unfortunately, there is nothing said about ballistics and the round is not shown on the Federal www.
