In the spirit of this exercise I must offer this... Every person has the right to do anything and everything they so desire that does not violate the rights of another.

I'm of the opinion that the 2nd is in place to be one of the Checks & Balances that prevent any one person or branch of the government from gaining too much power. And in that respect, we citizens need to be at least as well armed and well practiced as those we are meant to be a check against.

might just be me, but I never throw any parts away, broken or otherwise. The customer gets back everything they brought to me. Now I have had customers tell me to just throw stuff away, but that's after the work is done, and they've had the option to keep it.
