Zoli / Navy Arms 58 caliber “ Buffalo Hunter.”

I was looking at one of these yesterday that was made back in 1972. If it had been fired, then the previous owners truly knew how to take care of their muzzleloaders. Beautiful rifle. I have read many times online where that people are calling the Buffalo Hunter nothing more than just a cut...

    Gunsmith needed

I am looking for a gunsmith who could bore-out a 357 magnum cylinder on a Cimarron Colt/style single action revolver to 10 mm. This would be for use in a Cimarron .38/40 Colt-style revolver. Maybe this conversion is not possible. Thanks for the info.

Dixie Gun Works “ Lancaster “.45 flintlock rifle

Would any of you happen to know what company in Italy manufactured the “Lancaster” .45 caliber flintlock rifle that was sold through Dixie Gun Works? The one I was looking at was made in 1982 according to the Italian firearm year code “ AI.” Thank you for your time and information.

    Thompson Center Seneca

A friend has a Thompson Center Seneca with both the .45 and .36 caliber barrels that he is interested in to selling me. The .45 caliber barrel is a bit rusty, but the .36 looks like it is unfired. He told me he wanted $400 for them, but I wasn’t for sure about the price, so I thought I would...

I am seriously considering purchasing one of these new Italian replicas of the Spencer Carbine in caliber .56–50. If any of you have any hands-on experience with current production guns made in the last two years, I will be very interested in seeing what you have to say. Not wanting to hear...

    7.91 Mauser caliber

Last week I bought a Turkish Mauser model 1903/37 short rifle. When I removed the handguard, I noticed that the barrel was stamped 7.91. Does that mean that it’s caliber is just the standard .323 diameter, 8mm ( 8x57) Mauser caliber? Thanks.

    Number 10 percussion caps

Have any of you recently had success in locating number 10 percussion caps? I have quite a few number 11‘s, but they seem to be a tad bit too large for my cap and ball revolvers, and I get tired of trying to pinch each one to make them fit snug. Thanks for your help!

    1862 police hand question.

If the hand on my 1862 police is too long, could that be the reason it just stops the cylinder from turning; giving it a push movement as opposed to a lift movement? Thanks for your input again.

    Older Uberti 1861 Navy

A friend of mine has one for sale. According to the date code, it was made in 1970. Not for sure who did it, but a previous owner tried their skills at making the gun look “antique”. No bluing is left on the gun anywhere but there are plenty of nicks scratches and pit marks on the outside...

Garibaldi Colt 2nd Gen. 3rd Model Dragoon

I was looking at one of these as a shooter. It is one of the plain models; no gold scenes, looks just like a new Italian repro, but with a plain smooth cylinder and colt markings. Serial number Has the “GCA” prefix. Beautiful bluing and color case hardening. Just in a small local Gun shop...

    .45 or .50?

I own a t/c .50 Hawken and a .50 T/C White Mountain Carbine. Today I came across an older T/C .45 Hawken built from a kit. The owner is possibly interested in trading his .45 Hawken even up for my .50 Hawken. His .45 is old enough that there is no “Hawken “ name on it, or the black powder...
