I've been using a food dehydrator and it's awesome! Gets all the cases 100% dry in half an hour. I do a lot more shooting in the winter so drying them in the sun won't work and the basement is cool so drying is slow.
I think you'll find that Hornady's customer service is fantastic. All of my reloading dies and presses etc are hornady and the couple times I've had issues (all of them minor by the way) they have been extremely helpful and really take care of their customers.
I have the hornady "hot tub" which is a large heated ultrasoinc cleaner. I've followed the instructions and used the hornady cleaning solution to clean both steel, polymer, and aluminum guns. Never had any issues and I highly recommend it.
I've got a couple LCP's and they all run well with both FMJ range ammo as well as my SD ammo of choice (hornady critical defense).
My question is how many rounds would you go before replacing recoil springs or just go until it starts demonstrating failures?
Big fan of silencerco!
I started with a .22 sparrow as my first can, and yep it multiplied... Now I have.
Sparrow .22
Osprey 9mm
Osprey .45
Saker 7.62
Salvo 12ga (Still waiting on my stamp)
Silencerco is also offering trusts now as well at a great price. If thinking about a can I...
If i'm not mistaken Hornady bought pacific and their current powder measure is a derivative of that old pacific one. You may want to call them and see if their "pistol" or small rotor and metering assembly will work in that measure.
I load some really soft loads with titegroup so I'm...
I have a viridian R5 on my LCP. The LCP is one of the Gen 1 guns with the almost non existent sights. It's an assist not the only thing I use for sight picture but on such a small gun with such poor sights I think it's a great benefit with very little down side given how small the laser is and...
I have one of their 9mm pistols and I was able to get a bunch of Sten mags cheap from CDNN that work perfectly. not sure about the other calibers though
I've got what a lot of people would call a large collection of guns. Some older lots of modern. And some of them are unfired, for example I have a bereta 92 inox made in italy with all stainless controls. Its still unfired, it was my dream gun when I was a kid and I just like having it mint. I...
I'd strongly echo other folks recommendation that you start on a single stage. I'm all for the buy once cry once but I'm VERY glad I learned on a single stage and then moved onto my Hornady ammo plant. I still use the single stage as well
I've got a silencerco saker in 7.62 and if I shoot .223 then I put the smaller end cap on for the added performance of matching the caliber better. If I shoot supersonic ammo then I use hearing protection for sure. Even some of the 30 sub out of the short barrel I still use plugs just to be...
I've been pondering adding a RIA 1911 or maybe that 9mm / TCM combo to my collection.
Seems like every review I've read is positive and for the price they're really hard to beat.
Absolutely love mine, It is a little expensive to feed but mine is accurate and reliable. No complaints at all.
If you can find one for a decent price then scoop it up
Don't knock it till you've tried it
The Serbu shorty is a fantastic little shotgun. It is well built and Serbu has a great reputation for customer service.
As for recoil and manageability I swapped out the stock pistol grip for the blackhawk recoil reducing pistol grip, it has a spring...
I've run into this a few times as well and have wanted to ask the same question but couldn't find a good way to phrase it myself without it seeming like I was asking for a "how to"
Thanks for posing the question better then I could myself and I second the above.
