no this stuff is soild not hollow. Most of the come attached to a flashlight but you really don't need one. It will use the light in the room to light up the bore of the gun.

I have seen them as low as $1 for the thing and then people want like $5 to ship it. I just did not know if it was something you could get at the local hardware store or some other place like that. thanks
