    Opening hour 7X7 Elk

I was out on the ATV scrounging brass and testing a pet X39 load yesterday; I stopped to draw a hunting map for a guy who recently moved to this area. He showed me a picture of a 7X7 Roosevelt Bull this other guy arrowed, and gave me this description; First day, first light, one cow call...

    Street Lingo-Leading, advice please

Colt 45: 10 Gr of HS6, CCI Magnum primers, 250 Gr RNFP from Bullets Direct... Leaving stubborn streaks and deposits on the inside of the barrel, closer to the cylinder, is this call "Leading"? Is there a load combo that would reduce this (other than jacketed bullets)? New/stiff nylon...

    Street lingo

When a "Yugo" 7.62X39 brass case is listed as "non-reloadable" Do they usually state that because of the primer pocket mil-crimp? I know there could be a number of obvious reasons like dented, cracked etc. Do they really mean to state that it is reloadable if the crimp is removed?

"X39" Berdan case into a boxer case

Anyone ever successfully reload a berdian primed brass case by turning it into a boxer primed brass case in 7.62X39? Is is just a matter of removing the primer crimps and reload as usual? If so, is there any reference material you can point me to? Thanks

6 cartridges had no powder drop, what to do

I was going along pretty good today loading some .45 Colt on my new Lee Deluxe Turret; I wasn't keeping an eye on the powder drop, the .71 disk didn't re-set when I lowered the handle on 6 cartriges. :what: Now I have 6 primed cartriges with bullets and no powder in them...

    First load; I'm hooked

I got er done today for my .45LC. Everything went real smooth. The powder calc seemed too light with the .46 disk as I wanted a ballpark of 9 grains so I used a .61 disk, it weighed in at 8.6 grains. Good enough. I test fired six rounds at 25 feet; they fired clean and sunk very deep into...
