Does anyone think the reaction would have been different if it had been almost all ar-15s and ak-47s or other types of "evil assault weapons?" I would think that since they found some rather high powered items such as the automatics and explosives that it wouldn't have been much different.
I can't remember learning anywhere that a citizen had to talk to the police. OTOH, I was told that it would happen on a regular basis, and there is nothing the officer can do about it without some sort of justification. I also see no problem with the woman saying she was going to call to be sure...
How does everyone think she would do if she did run? I wonder if being a woman would drastically hurt her chances of winning. I'd have to say it would have some effect but I'm not sure how much.
I always think stories like that are very cool. Gives even more of a historic feel to the firearm, or the antique furniture, or whatever the little piece of history was found in.
I just saw it a couple days ago and I liked it as well. I thought the gunning was pretty good. It's a shame that actors are willing to use guns to make money, but will turn right around and berate them politically.
I voted pistol because it is what I will have with me most of the time in a defense situation when I would want the most skill. I could also get a contender and have closer to rifle performance for hunting out of a handgun.
