    Phosphate Finishes and Surface Prep

I have phosphated guns in the past with pretty minimal surface prep - quick bead blast, masking, and then on to the finishing. Now I have never polished a handgun to a mirror finish and then dipped it in the phosphate solution. I was wondering if any of you had done so, and if so, what was...

S&W 647 Varminter - Anyone tried it out?

I was in the local firearms emporium the other day checking on price/availability of a 952 and I came across the 647. I was wondering if anyone had checked one out yet. If so, what were your opinions? Thanks
