I use both Longshot and CFE-Pistol in 9mm for higher velocity 147 gr loads and find them pretty equivalent. I prefer CFE-Pistol by a slight edge but like them both in everything I shoot from an M&P Shield to a Ruger PCC. I will say that Longshot earns its nickname of "Loudshot".:)

It may be that the nose of your bullet does not fit well in the seater plug. If this happens, the nose can tilt slightly and result in different lengths. There are ways to simply modify the seater plug if you have a big mis-match.

Love the bullet and my load is almost the same - 1.16" OAL and 4.0 gr CFE Pistol w/ CCI SPP. In my M&P Shield it gives about 800 fps, 860 fps in a Ruger SR9 , and 1050 fps in my Ruger PCC. YMMV and these loads are save in my guns and may not be in yours.
