    S&W 610

I'm a big fan of the 10mm cartridge but, I'm tired of losing my precious brass across state lines (my 1006 really throws the brass!) Yesterday, I stopped by my LGS and they had a new 4" 610-3. I checked it out pretty thoroughly and it seemed to be put together as well as the Smiths of old...

    Starline

Over the years I've read about Starlines "policy" concerning backorder. Little over a week ago I ordered 500 .45 Colt that was "backordered" just curious what anyone's experience has been with Starlines "official back orders? I believe in this company so I'll abide by their rules/do whatever...

    What do you think?

Do I have enough flare? Was setting up my Dillon Square Deal for .357 mag, after having been previously set up for .38spl, I forgot to adjust the bell/powder die :) Looks like a trumpet! I did manage to get ~450 rds loaded after making the proper adjustments

    I did it again

I knew when I bought a 4¾" Taylor's and company Smoke Wagon in .45 Colt, back I September that I would be looking for another. As luck would have it, I saw a 5½" .357 mag Taylor's Smoke Wagon on a hometown board. The seller graciously accepted my, admittedly 'low ball' offer so, I just got...

    Did you guys hear me?!

I did it again fellas. Loaded up my Square Deal hopper with ½-¾lb of #9 to load some test 10mm and forgot to tighten down the clamp. Pulled the handle and, away it goes! Hits the floor and sprayed powder EVERYWHERE!! :cuss:

    Got lucky today

Posted in the "Latest cartridge are you're reloading" thread that I was trying out some Blue Dot & BE-86 in my 10mm but would like to find Longshot and Accurate #9. Haven't seen either on shelves for awhile. Had some running around to do today and stopped by my LGS not expecting much but, lo...

    Am I the only one...

I was cleaning my Uberti "Smoke Wagon" this morning and noticed a difference in the thickness of the steel between the chambers from the rear of the cylinder to the front of the cylinder. To my way if thinking, this means the chambers are NOT bored "straight" through the cylinder. I've...

    Just couldn't resist

After seeing derick45s Taylor SAA, and looking at the pictures day after day I was convinced that I needed one too. To make a long story short, after yet another medical debacle I decided that today was the day. Stopped at my LGS and that Taylor Smoke Wagon was still there! Not there anymore ;)

    Last shot...

I'm a little over an hour away from going into surgery. They're operating in my ear (taking some bone out, putting prosthetic bones in... stuff like that) and I won't be able to wear my "cheater' glasses because I the scar so I probably won't be able to read these forums for awhile. Wanted to...

    TC Renegades...

Power went out at work this morning so they sent us home. I got bored and figured I'd post a couple pics of my rifles. Top, double set trigger, one was my dad's that I inherited in '05 when he passed. Bottom is my Renegade Hunter (single trigger) that I got for Christmas when I was 12 (long...

    Luger....

I replied in another thread about shooting old "new" guns (I came down on the "shoot it! side, I've personally shot the heck out of this Luger; that's what it was made for right?) I realized that I, not only, had posted in the revolver section, it was in someone else's thread and that wasn't my...

    Lead poisoning...

In another thread about the state of popularity of bullet casting, one poster brought up the fact that he had elevated lead levels. Since the thread was beginning to stray away from the OP's original topic I thought I'd start a new one. Has anyone else had issues with elevated lead in their...
