Shoot it at least once a month, clean it the same day. It stays pretty clean under the dust cover. I guess it never goes back in its place dirty.

I have the same gun, i could only get 5 inch groups at 25yds. That was off a rest with hand loads. I was ok with that but maybe I should expect better.

M&P 40C or 40 Shield IWB at 3 or 4 o'clock has worked for me. Need a minor adjustment when you first sit but after that ur good to go

The two boxes of PDX I bought last week looked like this too. I shot five with no probs. The other 15 went into the mag for good.

My shooting buddy has the XDM. I get to shoot it a lot and I really like it. Accurate and no malfunctions in all the classes and IPSC shoots we've done. I would not hesitate to get one.

I have more than 5k rounds of Remington Gold through mine. Runs great. I think you will enjoy it.
