Type 56 "Triangle 26" SKS info?

Thanks for the info, wrench, though I was hoping it would be a Sino-Soviet. But, the Reciever,Bolt, and Magazine DO match.

Type 56 "Triangle 26" SKS info?

I'm just curious, are the three ones part of the serial number? Also if not, that makes it a 5 digit serial number, so could it be a Sino-Soviet? What does the B stand for? does it mean bangladesh? Or is it just to indicate that there was another gun with the same serial number?

Type 56 "Triangle 26" SKS info?

Sorry for not saying this in the original post, but I know that it's a Type 56 Norinco, I was just wondering about the date, value, and whether it was a Sino-Soviet or not. It isn't for sale, of coarse, I was just wondering if I got a good deal, because I got it for 200 dollars. Actually, I...

Type 56 "Triangle 26" SKS info?

Oh and just so ya know, the serial number on the fixed mag does match that of the bolt carrier. And sorry about the third image not being so good, I didn't even mean to take it...

Type 56 "Triangle 26" SKS info?

Could someone please give me some info on my SKS, like the date Manufactured, whether it's a Sino-Soviet, whether or not it's an early model reciever made off of a Russian Reciever, and the value? I've searched all over the internet and i've yet to find a reciever marked like this one...

    Mosin Nagant Shooting High?

Thanks for all the helpful resonces, and sorry for replying so late. I think I'll try to get some thin tubing to put over the front sight and maybe file down the rear sight just a tad. But at my home, 40 yards is the longest shots I can really take. I don't like the "local" shooting range, which...

    Mosin Nagant Shooting High?

So, today I went out and shot the old 1926 Ex-Dragoon 91-30. I was just plinking at about 40 yards. I was using Brown Bear 203 gr. SP. It groups great, but it shoots about 2 1/2 inches high. The rear sight is at it's lowest setting. Are there any easy, cheap fixes to this problem?

Do any of you have any experience with the Zastava EZ9?

    Croatian PHP MV9 9mm?

I actually was going to get a CZ82 for a long time, but I decided that 9x18 mak doesn't have enough power for a primary self defense handgun. And there aren't many reasonably priced used Smith and Wesson Model 10's around here. Although I have been considering the Taurus M82.

    Croatian PHP MV9 9mm?

Recently, iv'e been looking for a good reliable, accurate, affordable handgun as my "nightstand" / "truck" gun as well as my primary SHTF handgun. I had been looking at Walther P1's, but I turned away because of the relatively low magazine capacity of 8 rounds and the fact that it was a little...

    Nagant M1895 Revolver: Underrated stopper?

I actually meant to put Smith & Taurus, but I meant EITHER the Smith or the Taurus, haha. Around here, used model 10's aren't very common sadly.

    Nagant M1895 Revolver: Underrated stopper?

I didn't mean to say just military surplus, my mind must have been absent on that reply, haha. I will definately consider the Smith and Taurus. I'm probably going to get a used Taurus and spend the rest on ammo, unless someone else has a suggestion.

    Nagant M1895 Revolver: Underrated stopper?

Okay. Guess it's decided then, I'm not getting a nagant. Is there a military suprlus handgun that fite THIS Bill?: Doesn't overpenetrate like 7.62x25, has more stopping power than 9x18 Makarov, accurate, reliable, 300 dollars at most? I've asked this question before on a thread and got no good...

    Nagant M1895 Revolver: Underrated stopper?

Maybe better than a .22? That is beyond bashing the caliber. I don't buy a gun unless it has SOME use or practical purpose besides fun. I would like to buy a gun only for plinking but I can't afford that. Come on. Could someone give me a reasonable answer? Any ballistic reports on the surplus...

    Nagant M1895 Revolver: Underrated stopper?

So, I have been thinking about getting a Nagant Revolver. Mainly for Plinking/Target shooting and as a piece of history, but also (possibly) as another self defence handgun. However,I realize that the double action pull is extremely tough, and that almost modern 7.62x38mm is ONLY for plinking...

Mosin Nagant -Did I get a good deal?

Thank you all so much- especially you, TurtlePhish. Can't wait the shoot my new rifle. A true piece of History. The Mosin shoulden't be measured by MOA. It should be measured by HMN (How Many Nazis). Haha.

Mosin Nagant -Did I get a good deal?

Is there any chance this was used in WW2? Does being an Ex-Dragoon effect value or quality at all? Also, since i'm stupid, was this made in the Tula or Izhevsk factory? Any further info would be appreciated. Also, one more question. Does this seem like a good...
