    Remington 7600 Extractor

Hi Everyone, disassembled a 7600 to change a broken extractor. Expected to just change out the clip style extractor only to find that this bolt has the rivet type. I thought the 7600's were all the new style. Was just wondering if some of the early models still had the rivet type or maybe the...

    Autoloader Shotgun Gas Cylinder Detachment

Gas cylinder on a Rem 1100 came off the barrel. You can see where the solder did not take on better then half of the mounting surface. If I thin both surfaces and use a heat sink paste. Can I use 1200 degree solder without any change to the tempering of the barrel or the cylinder? Thanks

    deep pits on barrel

Hi, I bought a used 22 rifle that has some deep pits in it. I sanded some of the smaller ones out but it would deform the barrel too much to try this to the deep ones. What can you use to fill that will take a cold blue other then TIG welding? Is MIG to hot? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Just bought a Marlin 783 Bolt / tube mag in .22 Magnum from a guy. I can get it to feed a round from the mag. As the bolt comes forward, it pushes the round forward. Then the tip goes up and into the very end of the chamber but the end of the case is just halfway into the bolt face. The round is...
