    Home made Cast Lead HP for HD?

    Thank you for your advice i'm fairly new to reloading i didn't even think about the alloy mix i guess i'll use the jhp for a sd round and the lead round nose for plinking and manipulation training.

    Does anybody know if a Cast Lead hollow point out of a 9x19 would have good enough expansion to be used as a home defense round? i was wondering because casting and loading my own SD 9mm ammo is cheaper and more accurate than buying loaded ammo and that means i can do more training.

    Love or Hate Glock?

    Glocks are ok but my Taurus PT 24/7 can do anything a Glock of the same caliber can do so i have no reason to buy one in 9mm but the Glock 20 with a 6 inch barrel in 10mm would be a good coyote handgun.

    Where do you keep your bedside home defense weapon?

    A small safe at my bedside that has my handgun two 17 rd mags,one 5 rd box of 00 buck,flashlight and a pistol belt with a holster.
