Mine is a Norinco 1911 and I'm pretty sure it originally came with the short ones. The previous owner must have replaced it with this two piece which is broken.

I need to replace the recoil spring guide on my 1911 but I'm having a hard time deciding between the short ones or the full length two piece or one piece. What do you guys recommend and why?
