Thanks for the feedback guys--that really helps me out a lot.
The reason I said 'new' is because it was advertised as NIB when I bought it, but then when I looked more closely at it I saw that a couple of the torx screws had had a wrench in them (missing a tiny bit of finish). That plus the...
I just but a 'new' Benchmade 530 Pardue. A very nice folder but I noticed one thing and I don't know if it is normal or not. When closed the blade is not centered in the handle. The tip of the blade doesn't touch the handle when closing but is close. Is this normal and should I even be...
You still need to wear full hearing protection. I used to just use an ear plug in my muzzle ear (the ear that faces the muzzle when shooting).
I learned the hard way when hunting in extreme cold. The colder the air temperature, the more dense the air is. This causes sound waves to be more...
For ME, the perfect 9mm ever created is the P30L. So far I have not been able to justify any other 9mm handgun purchases because this one is so ideal in every way. If you plan to have a gun for at least 5-10 years, it would be worth it to spend a few hundred bucks more. It is worth it.
A few years back, the US Air Force fit one of these on a 747. The work was done in Wichita, Kansas for a year or two. The laser was meant to be flown to conflicts and was suppose to be able to shoot missiles, etc down while in flight. I cannot remember if the project got completed.
WOW
Just a comment about the article:
WOW.
Sorry, but being court ordered to attend outpatient mental health therapy does not disqualify you for buying a gun. Being court ordered to outpatient mental health treatment does not by itself mean you are "mentally defective" and it does not...
It's not easing at all. In fact people are now beginning to hoard 40 and 45 FMJ ammo (as well as .357). All wiped clean at my local big box LGS and they had ton's of it last week. I think people are afraid it's going to end up like the 9mm and .22 and they are buying just in case.
The Gander is wiped out in Kansas too. In fact I went in there yesterday and apparently there was a run on .40 and .45. The week before they had ton's of each and now is very slim pickings.
I am glad Walther is coming out with new stuff, but very disappointed in the discontinuation of the PPQ and the paddle release.
The PPQ is one of the best semi-autos out there especially considering value for money. I was just waiting and waiting for a 4.5" to 5.0" target model to come out...
Does anybody remember the specifics of and the timeline of the '94 AWB? It was too long ago for me to remember, but I have some questions:
What precipitated it? How long did it take to pass and how much time did gun owners have to prepare for it? In other words was there a grace period...
