Can anyone please tell me what to look, good and bad, for in a M1917 Winchester rifle. This has a receiver date of 4/18 based on the serial number, but a 3/19 date on the barrel. the hand guard looks somewhat shiny. Any thing I should look for would be appreciated. thx, merrick4

I am a resident of KY, can I purchase a C & R handgun in NC face to face from a LGS and take it with me back to KY. Or do I have to have the LGS ship it to a FFL in KY and pick up? My appologies if this has been discussed. Regards, merrick

Does anyone have a lead a Colt S70 NIB blued or SS. Checked all the LGS's in my area for a few months and no luck. I spoke with Colt and the say the are shipping them regularly.

I only use the mini-mag, because it is always cheaper than the standard velocity where I live.

check out Hornady 3037, 150 grain FMJ. I think I bought in bulk on sale for .18 ea. I can't recall where, i'll try to look it up for you. Very nice plinking rounds.

I live about two miles from Bud's in Lexington, they are good to work with and charge me $ 10.00 when I purchase rifles on various auction sites.

That's a really good price on Tikka M91, the stock disk are rarely found and very desirable.

I have a 1941 Sako M39 that is worn out looking and is a great shooter, I also have a 1927 Tikka M91 that will drive tacks.

I thought it was a carbine, if it were a SA marked M38 it would have been quite a prize.
