yes sir! I see the starting load is 15gr I was just a little concerned about pressure because of seating the bullet deeper, that's why I backed off of starting load I cant use the 1st crimp for my smith its just a tad long.

I just wanted to check back in and say I put the new drive shaft and hub back together and all is well that was very strange for it to freeze up like that. I put a very light coat of marine grease on the hub I think I will take it apart maybe anually to clean it and lube.
just a note I took...
No not humid it is in a basement but I do have a dehumidifier running the drive hub that was stuck looked like cosmoline or something the only thing I can think of is when I clean off the sub plate I use rubbing alcohol and maybe it broke down the powder when it ran between the hub and plate. as...
I haven't used my lock n load in a few months so when I went down to my bench I started to pull the handle and when I got to the bottom of the stroke the index wheel wouldn't turn the drive shaft so the drive hub wouldn't turn I thought something was stuck or broke I couldn't hardly turn the...
I loaded and shot 8.0 10.0 10.5 and 11.0 gn unique for recoil I have a small bullet trap in my basement the 11.0 gn is stout but as mentioned not as stout as 296/110 loads. I liked the feel of the 8.0gn I can't wait to get out to the range
I will load some at 8gn too and take them to the range also. 44special lists 5.8to 6.5 in my lyman book for 240gn lead and 44mag shows 10.0 to 11.7 unique how come such a big gap for a starting load in 44mag?
I was talking with my wife a couple weeks ago and I said I wish I had a 22cal pistol for plinking and she looked at me and said why don't you go buy one? I said what's the catch what do you want? she said nothing, she's the best:D well I went just a little bigger in caliber and got a...
Hi guys I have some bullets coming from Missouri Bullet co. I am going to try the .357 Action in 158gn and the 240gn elmer keith in 44 mag these are the coated Hi-tek ones. I have the Lyman 49th edition manual and the closest I can find is 155gn linotype for .357cal I was looking for loads using...
I use the 55gn dogtown in my rem 700 .223 with a max load of H-335 they are one of the most accurate bullets I have. I am not sure who makes them for midway but I love them.
What I have on hand for powder is W231 power pistol unique and Bullseye, with the shortage I can't find any 2400 or H-110 with what I have my manual only listed Unique for load data. The reason I used Mag primers was I got them by mistake when I ordered them. I will save them for H-110 and I...
