Have you ever sold/bought reloaded ammo?

Been reloading for over 45 years and get constant requests from friends to reload for them. They see the consistency and accuracy I am able to achieve. I use a Single stage Rockchucker press and powder loading is done by hand! Every 5th load is weighed and then the cases are all checked with a...

What's the oldest (by date of manufacture) ammo you've fired or own?

I have shot a lot of .303 ammunition through my 1947 Lee Enfield. Most of the ammo was made in Pakistan in 1947 -1948. Bought several big batches of this ammo back in 2008/9 About 50% of the rounds have a very slight delay in ignition, but are still extremely accurate. Still got a couple...

I asked artificial intelligence to settle the 9mm vs 45acp debate.

The Choice should be simply the caliber that the shooter is the most comfortable with and can shoot his/her best! THATS HUMAN INTELLIGENCE!

How well does your 45acp Ruger Conversion cylinder shoot

Purchased mine in 2012. Love it! Extremely accurate with either caliber. Use fairly heavy loads in 45ACP and the 45 Colt! and its accurate and lots of fun to shoot. I shoot the 45 ACP and Colt about equally and both do a great job. A purchase I will never regret!

What is going on with the Ruger Blackhawk price?

Its Crazy! I bought a Blackhawk 45ACP/ 45 Colt Combo from my LGS just a few years ago for $500 even. It was a good buy then and has had a lot of use since then. It gets around 100 rds of each caliber at each range session, Love it!

Gun Cleaning....love it or hate it?

I take pride in every gun I own and YES, I clean after every use! I like them to look nice and also to be clean and always ready for use with virtually no risk of a jam etc. I shoot all of my guns frequently and shoot around 400 to 500 rounds total every week. Never had a fail to feed and...

With Powder being so scarce I finally ran out of Alliant Red Dot. A friend said he had some but it was very very old. He brought me a pound to try. It looked and smelled OK . Soooooo I loaded 20 pieces and took then down to the range. I took the Chrono along and the first round showed almost...

More Guns a Bad Idea? Ammo…$

I have been collecting for almost 40 years, I haven't sold anything yet, but I have reduced my regular range guns to 3 pistol calibers. .357 Mag, .38 Spl and 45 ACP. and one rifle caliber 30/30. I am not a hoarder but have enough reloading suppliers on hand to continue shooting at a reduced...
