    Taurus G2c

Don't look too hard at the Taurus G3, you'll be out more $$$. Better trigger and sights, just not the conceal-ability.

    Buyers market..?

The biggest change I've seen since the post election glut of new guns is the used market (FTF especially) has finally come down to reality for the most part, it took over 2 years.

Springfield Armory XD Mod.2 Tactical .45 ACP?

Like someone said it probably is the sear spring. I would just replace it with a Colt or Wilson for $6.00. It's easy and it should fix it. I'm picking up my XD Mod2 5" 45 hopefully tomorrow from Bud's. It should have 2 mags.

Took the plunge, Jumped in head first!

If you don't go the route of aftermarket spent primer tube then cut and bend a safety pin to replace cotter pin for the "Spent Primer Catcher Chute". It works so much better. Also just bought the Inline Fabrication "Skylight". It drops into center of toolhead to illuminate it. It could be a...

    Anyone Own CZ P09?

In my P07 the reloads that don't work are Montana Gold 124 gr HP's. Their FMJ 124's work fine. Just a heads up: Dry fire the gun very very little, the firing pin stop (roll pin) is a weak point and will break along with the other weak point, the trigger return spring, Cajun sells upgrades to both.

It's 1990 and you have $500.00 to burn. What do you buy?

I would do exactly what I did in November of that year and bought a new Hi Power Mark III for $377.08 and spend the rest of the $500 on factory magazines.

    9mm Crimp Issue

I'm relatively new to reloading and have a 550B also. As to the proper amount of bell here is a direct quote from a Dillon rep on their forum: "Use your calipers to assist in setting the flaring. Measure the outside diameter of the case mouth on a sized, unflared case. After flaring, this...

What is considered to be a lightweight AR?

I'm at 6.2 lbs with this without trying hard except wanting to put a lightweight barrel on it. The rail was a practical choice since I didn't see a need for the full length Picatinny. The lower is a stock Colt LE6920 except for butt stock (MOE SL) and Geissele SSA trigger Barrel is a 16"...

looking for the next budget handgun <$400

Not ragging on Hi Points but 13 malfunctions in 1200 rounds is alarming. More than 1 in the 1st 500 rounds is concerning. More than 2 or 3 in the whole time I own a gun is enough to never trust it unless it was caused by a specific part that needed replacing. To each his own.

    Replacing Square Deal B

Someone who sells their Dillon's and replaces them with another brand, especially Lee, should have their Mancard revoked.

What To Do If You Get Pulled Over

My CCDW instructor, a FFDO and constable, told us never to touch your gun even if told to do so by the officer. He said if you were, respectively ask the officer to give you a felony pat-down to retrieve it that way. Lessens that chance of a mistake being made. I think it''s pretty good advice...

    FTF Legality Question

Is it illegal on the federal level to conduct a Face To Face sale in a gun store parking lot. I was told by a former co-worker who does a lot of "horse trading" that it is but I cannot find any official verification without actually calling the ATF. Thanks

How expensive is your carry gun?

Stock Shield 9 for $309 new. I can't think of anything that could touch it for the price.

    Security six cylinder jam

Mine did it while shooting Perfecta 357 ammo, primers were backing out and locking gun up. The only way to open cylinder was to pull trigger and push cylinder release at same time. There was a sweet spot for how far trigger needed to be pulled back so cylinder would come loose.

Hi Power trigger removal: can't get the pin out. Also mag safety question

Something I came up with is to take a piece of moleskin pad, punch a hole in it the size of pin you're driving out, place over pin, it will help protect frame from scratches if punch slips.

Hi Power trigger removal: can't get the pin out. Also mag safety question

Can't you just pull spring up enough while driving pin out? A 3 handed job, rig a paperclip or a curved pick maybe to act as 3rd hand? I had the same problem on mine, pin simply would not budge. Took it to gunsmith and he explained it and took him less than 2 minutes.
