Comparing a colt 6920 to a Palmetto build your own kit

IMO it all depends on the role of the rifle . If you are getting a range toy or hunting stick to poke at pasture poodles or shoot a hog in the butt once in a while then the PSA level rifle makes a whole lot of sense and I confess to having a couple . However If you want a rifle for duty or...

The prices individuals think their used rifles are worth...

IMO .. If you are not finding guns priced where you want them to be then your idea of " reasonable " might just be skewed a bit . There have always been outlier high prices and low prices in the gun market . However when " everything " is priced to high to suit you then it most likely isn't...

Talking about a bit more money than that for even an entry level one , but were i to " invest " in a firearm today just for the gain in value it would be a NFA item specifically a machinegun . Since they closed the registry in 86 iirc the prices have skyrocketed .

    Ruger American in 6.5 Creedmore

I have no interest in the Ruger American either , however I can sure see it for the budget limited folks or in a limited use role . The op was in part about the accuracy of the platform and that I could speak to at least from one completely stock sample. The rifle didn't interest me enough to...
