The original XDs 3.3 works for me.

I leave out the Acetone and it still cleans great. Never thought about putting it in a spray bottle, I keep it in a ketchup bottle. Gonna give that a try.

I liked Weapon Shield also. Now using Clenzoil. To me it's very pleasant.

I shoot mostly 124gr so I stay with 124gr for self defense. Short barrels I use 124gr +P, 4" and longer barrel I like standard 124gr.

1500 plus rounds through my xds without a problem. Both good guns, get the one you shoot most comfortably.

I own both. The PPS version 1 is a little lighter with a better trigger. The wife confiscated it so I carry the XDs. Bothg are great shooters, see which one feels best to you.

I own both and prefer CZ. Reliability has been equal in both platforms for me.

A better comparison would be the CZ 75 Compact, P-01, PCR or P-07. IMO any CZ product would be the better option.

A CZ 75B or the CZ 75 SP01 Shadow are great options.

I think you are over thinking it. All you listed are high quality and reliable guns. Pick the one that feels and shoots best in your hands. I own a couple of CZ's and never had an issue with the frame, my wife and 13 year old daughter shoot Glocks with no limp wristing issues.
