How common are 2.5" 686-4s? I have ran across one for sale but can't find anything to determine if the asking price ($1150) is ok, high, or way high. Either not many were made, or they are being held onto due to be pre-MIM/lock/+.

I ran across an early 90's Mark III that appears to be well taken care of and not fired a lot. The front slide rails have a parkerized looking finish while the rest of the gun is the standard black epoxy finish. Any ideas as I have never seen one like this in the handful I have looked at.

I have looked around to find non-circled IW marked Type 5 based magazines to get an idea of value, but can only seem to find ones with IW in circle. Are they that hard to find?
