Need help finding a conversion barrel for my Glock 40 MOS. All I’m finding is for Glock 20s and 40 caliber Glocks. I wanna punch the person that named a 10mm the Glock 40 but that’s another thread.
This might be a stupid question. Wouldn’t a 10 mm make for a better suppressed pistol than the 45 ACP? Couldn’t it be loaded with the same weighted bullets? They could still be sub sonic with lower sectional density, right? What am I missing?
Looking for recommendations for a holster in grizzly bear country. Thigh or shoulder? Something I can take on a long hike. Pistol is a Glock 40 10mm with a light on the rail.
Does anyone use them? I’m not having much luck on google other than PayPal doesn’t allow firearms purchases. Anyone use Venmo, Apple Pay, Cash app or others?
Does anyone have experience with feeding their dog venison throughout the year? I’m interested in “feeding my dog raw” and everything I’ve found online is trying to sell me something or talking about whole chickens. I’m talking specifically about venison. Is there a special way it has to be...
Anyone ever mountain bike out to their stand or blind? Just thinking it'd cut down on scent and allow you to get farther and or out to your stand quicker. Looking it up on google all I find are ads for electric scooters. I don't have one of those but I do have a bike!
So I'm on my first AR build and want a 1-4x scope. There's a Burris w/ an illuminated reticle and a Leupold or Nikon Monarch w/o. Burris is $300 and gets great reviews and the other 2 are $400.
So back to the question, those of you w/ the illuminated reticles, would you give up a little...
looks interesting. made in turkey. would like to see an in depth review. $350 might be worth the beta test.

I've narrowed my choices to the Colt 6920 and the CSR 1516 competition sporting rifle.

Does anyone use/recommend subsonic ammo out of a handgun for deer hunting within 50 yards? A friend of mine is letting me hunt his property and it's the legal 200yards away from his neighbors structures but I'd like to be respectful of the neighbors as well as the animal. Any thoughts?
what was that "one thing" you started doing or not doing that turned you into a successful hunter?
for example, using different scents, a certain call, not using a certain shampoo a week before hunting.
what, for you has made all the difference?
People who have been successful at it, please chime in. Things like clothing considerations. Time of day you prefer. Do you dial down the poundage of your bow? Other things I haven't considered. I'd like to hear about it.
Michigan is allowing certain caliber rifles be used in formerly shotgun only zones.
"Under the proposal, which will be on a trial basis until 2017, rifles that take .35 caliber or larger ammunition could be used in the southern zone as long as the cartridges used are straight walled with a...
getting light primer strikes on certain ammo brands but not others. the primers seem to be "struck well".
1) is there a difference in major manufacturers primers?
2)is there a way to tell if a pistol is striking hard/deep enough?
3)am i over thinking it and should i just send the gun...
For those of you that compete, is the Mossberg JM Pro as good as advertised? I guess what I mean is are they as good of a value as they appear?
I don't compete but they are intriguing.
looking for a single shot rifle in 7.62x39 with less than a 20" barrel and a wood stock @ around $300. the handy rifles come close but they are rare. any others? thanks.
my coworker's father has an S&W snub 38 special w/ a hammer that is almost flush with the back of the gun. from the side view it almost looks hammerless but is surprisingly easy to cock. is that a model or a type of hammer job? i wish i had a picture of it to describe it better.
just like when the auto makers jack up the price for new safety features, aren't the gun manufactures making out like bandits selling high cap mags and pistol grip rifles today and then turning around and selling the same people "compliant" parts if an AWB is instituted? and it isn't just...
