What would you chose for a hunting rifle? Ruger Scout .308 or the Remington VS "Varmint Special" in .308 which would you chose for a hunting rifle? I have knuckled it down to a .308 rifle, I have a new Ruger Scout, but looking at a used Rem VS with a 26" barrel.
