I read somewhere that the 50 year model is not as strong as a regular model and should not be used with full-house loads. Any truth to this?

I'm a dedicated Ruger fan, I would take a Ruger over a Smith anytime! But that's just me.

Universal works well in both .38 and .357 for me with good accuracy. Meters well also.

Trim your brass, if you have some that have stretched even a little bit, then you are putting an inconsistent crimp on them which will cause different pressure spikes. Sometimes too much pressure!
