How Accurate is a Modern In-line with Sabots?

I have a CVA Wolf, and use Powerbelt Bullets in it. I have tried a few different brands that use the plastic sabots and accuracy is not as good, acceptable, but just not as good.

What to do without a permanent spot?

I have my setup on a small rolling tool chest, which stays in the garage. It has three drawers that I keep dies, molds, etc. in. The open bottom I keep brass and bullets in. Powder and primers stay in the house in a closet. I put together a couple of 2x6s and bolted them to the top for mounting...

    Those Dadgum Varmints

Back in 1977 I bought a Ruger model 77 heavy barrel in 220 Swift. It was a liberty model and super accurate. The only ammo around was Norma and I bought a ton of it. Norma rated it at 4110 fps for the 50grn semi-pointed bullet. Man, I made some amazing shots with it. The scope was a Weatherby...

The first gun that I bought with my own hard-earned money was a 311. I was 14yrs. old at the time. Mine was a 12 gauge and I put many, many rounds through it in the south GA dove fields. Never had a problem with it except the day I got it. I put both of my fat fingers on the triggers and pulled...

Ruger Blackhawk 50 Year Anniversary .357. Is it as strong as a regular model Blackhawk?

Thanks for all the input everyone. I didn't figure there was any "weakness" about it, after all it is a Ruger Blackhawk! I have three loads that are very accurate in it, 21 grns of 296 under a Sierra 125 grn hp, 6.1 grns of Universal under a 158 grn cast bullet, and 14.5 grns of 296 under the...

Ruger Blackhawk 50 Year Anniversary .357. Is it as strong as a regular model Blackhawk?

I read somewhere that the 50 year model is not as strong as a regular model and should not be used with full-house loads. Any truth to this?

Universal works well in both .38 and .357 for me with good accuracy. Meters well also.

    45-70 load and odd recoil.

Trim your brass, if you have some that have stretched even a little bit, then you are putting an inconsistent crimp on them which will cause different pressure spikes. Sometimes too much pressure!

    Ruger P90

I have a P-97DAO, and I love it. It is rather large and if you have small hands then it is probably not for you. The only problem that I have with it is that it does not like swc bullets, and that may just be my reloads, it eats anything else that I put in it. I currently load a 200grn round...
