I bought a kind of screw anchors , $ 5.96 , 100 Pk, home depot
the size is almost same as .22 snap caps, I inserted it to
the barrel very easy , then I can dry fire.
I am going to send an email to ask Ruger if there is a part called " transfer bar "which protects the firing pin from damage if I dryfire, if the answer is yes, why doesn't it show on the part list?
I already picked up mine SR-22, but only question I have is , why the shop does not allow the buyer to copy the 4473 form,? are there some dealer information does not allow customer to know? doesn't matter, ,just want to know.
Ruger SR-22 can be dry fired without damage the fire pin, it is said the SR 22 pistol has a transfer bar which protects the firing pin from damage if you dry fire the pistol. but, why can't I find this part from the part list ? I am still not sure if I can dry fire it very often. Are there...
I don't know why you said SR -22 is a "basic gun", I saw it on that link https://lynxdefense.com/best-22-pistol/, I believe that is a nice gun but of course not perfect one..
I have owned about 10 handguns or rifles but sold some, this was second handgun which were bough from online.
Maybe I...
Please tell the reason why you consider like that, this time I totally paid $516.85 includes everything, if I buy it from a local dealer directly, he still need order ship, I still need to wait, but I have to pay about $533.00, what is the different?
Yes, the shop put a receipt incudes a serials number in the box. Overall I like this gun very much, but I feel the safety/ De cocker is not smooth enough .
Today I went to the dealer and saw my SR-22, I inspected everything , slide , safety/decocker and magazine disconnect function , and didn't find any issue,
just one question, do I need to keep a copy of 4437 form? I don't know if the dealer will refuse to give the copy because there are some...
For example, Sig Sauer 1911-22, When I pull the slide, there is a round will jump out from chamber, or sometimes it is not out, I wonder if there is a gun part pushes or extract the round out. if the answer is yes , why didn't it happen all the time and I have to manually take the round out...
No, I think I will just follow the shop's message , call them, do they wanted me to do, hold transfer until the shop notify me . they sold a new gun with issue to me ,
they should take care all responsibility.
my gun was shipped today , estimate arrive date is Dec 4.
but I received a message from the gun shop as following
Important Information Regarding all Shipments:
PLEASE INSPECT YOUR FIREARM(S) THOROUGHLY BEFORE ACCEPTING TRANSFER FROM YOUR DEALER. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS, DO NOT...
I am anticipating this question because I just want to know in case ( very few) it happened ,what should i do? now at least I know I should not give the FFL hard time , just finish the 4473 , wait 7days to pick up the gun, then send back to Ruger, I don't care the dings & wear mark.
