I enjoy h110 for full power loads and jacketed bullets. Have not played enough with it in lead or coated which I prefer to shoot and use 2400 or unique as not always after highest velocity.
Looks kind of unhandy to me compared to classic turret. I use my left hand to insert brass, bullet, etc and this press has a support where classic cast doesn't. Lots of questions I guess. Priming on the press is very slow for me.
I honestly have never had a spot weld break. I have cans from probably the 70s to newer ones from midway. Haven't seen any surplus ones for a couple years. The new cans seem to have good spot welds. I'll compare these when I get them. I don't carry full of ammo everyday but have a few that...
My forster is national match and I picked up a small base from rcbs at lgs as the NM die wasn't quite sizing brass enough.
I prefer the forster setup too.
Sizing 308 today with rcbs small base die and my rcbs expander ball stripped threads and was left inside a 308 case. Was doing mixed cases and graphite lube. Not sure if was loose or lube but doesn't matter. Had to cut case open to retrieve ball but threads on rod and ball were pulled clean...
Watched silence of lambs as I guess was bored. Anyway last 5 minutes clarice has her finger on trigger with hammer cocked while she is stumbling around in the dark.. I wouldn't have noticed without this thread nor do I care still a good movie.
