When I'm ordering primers I consider 5000 to be a minimum per size. I buy whatever I can afford whenever I see them on sale so I'm a long ways from short for this little current fiasco. I'm also one of those people who enjoys sometimes just going out and making some noise to entertain myself...
I have the older square style and it make the rifle really manageable. Friend loves it and she'll put 30-40 shots a session through it with no problem.
Girlfriend has put hundreds of rounds through my BA50 with a Night Force on it and it never tagged her. She shoots 45-70 and 300 Win without problem equally well. I would think try either different scope or at least move it a little farther ahead. I cant imagine pulling the trigger and...
I actually bought some glow in the dark polish at a yard sale a while ago, haven't tried it yet but for ten cents a bottle I didn't think it was too big a risk.
welcome to the misery..... .25 auto is the most pia thing I load. If I'm lucky I'll do 50 before I give up and decide that's plenty to have on hand. small fingers are a plus here.
I like 37.5 gr of IMR 4198 under a 405 gr Lee cast hollow base bullet or a 420gr Lyman rnfp all Starline brass. We shoot it in both the guide guns and the Magnum Industries revolver and none of them beat you up too bad. I load them on a 550 with no issues at all.
I learned to shoot shotguns from my girlfriend ,"you shoot worse than a girl". Took a while but I figured it out, didn't grow up with shotguns and really never cared about them until we stated shooting clay pigeons. She cant touch me with a pistol though so it's all good fun. And yes it's still...
I get the same thing occasionally on my 550's, a piece of crap get on the primer seater and dents the primers. Other than looks and that it annoys me I just brush it off and carry on. It's never caused me a problem other than a dent in my ego for not noticing it sooner.
Done a bunch of 556 kits, rifle and pistol without any problems. The ads for killer deals every couple days are hard on the bank account though. Trying real hard to resist a 308 build
