my grip safety on my 1911 only moves about 50 thousands, very little. I'm talking about the movement it takes to disengage the grip safety. Most every other moves about 1/4 inch. It seems to function ok. Is this a concern

I replaced the OEM cap with this one with a swivel. Sure Cycle forend cap with a swivel part #CAP-391 on a Beretta Urika AL391 - 2 looking for answers if this will work, Getting mixed reviews. Does any one have experience or knowledge on these.
