Would you ever draw your knife instead of your pistol?

What you might consider is being at a place where you expect a few strange people who have guns. Be it in a drug dealers area, in a bar with lots of criminals, or in the streets of Pakistan. If you start shooting there, chances are good some paranoid will shoot you because he thought you meant...

How Can I Get One of These Babies?

VAT is 19% in Germany, and is included in the shown price. Foreign customers don't pay it. This is a customized CZ97 made for Frankonia, so you would have to buy it from them. Here is information for non German customers: http://www.frankonia.de/service/_content_/pdf/important_instructions.pdf...

    Does a 9mm revolver exist?

I found the Ruger Blackhawk to be more precise with .357 than with 9mm, with 9mm still giving good accuracy, but .357 being better. Using 9mm, the blackhawk has the right cylinder but the "wrong" barrel.

    Waterproof holsters or pouches?

A swiss gun magazine once did a test whether you could use a black powder revolver for self defence. They loaded one, put it in a sealed plastic bag and left it to lay in the moist for a year. They shot it directly from the closed bag. That was a bit messy, but worked fine. Just cause things...

What is this shotgun used for?

A lot of places in the world only allow you to have single loader shotguns, no pump/auto. In these places, this is a great Self/Home Defence weapon. Also some folks simply prefer the sight picture and handling of a over/under. For these folks, this is their kind of coach gun.

    ruger blackhawk in 45acp

Having the .45ACP cylinder is also good if you reload. When you test a reload you will notice if the shell gets sticky, which you will not with an autoloader.

    tt-33 drum mag?

The Luger drum was actually a drum adapted to a single stack gun. As the TT33 is single stack, get a drawing of the luger drum (or snail) to see how it was done. Don't go looking for a real one, they are $2000 up and please don't hack one. The PPSH was double feed, so there wont be a much...

It's probably not what you want, but there's the Ruger Blackhawk 4 5/8 " with .357 and 9mm cylinders.

What is more mechanically reliable in the cold, auto or revolver?

In the real cold you will have thick gloves that will keep you from getting your finger into the triggerguard on many guns. If you plan to take off the glove, better have a Glock or some other plastic grip or your hand might just freeze stuck to the metal.

    Question on HD Shotguns

Try both ways and try to reload quickly. In one case you will need to turn around the shell before loading, in the other csae you won't. That would be the right way for you. As people do their reloading in differents manners, there is no universal right way to habe them in the sidesaddle.

    My thoughts on OC Spray

I used it two times, as a civilian. Both times it helped me retreat. I have it in my pants pocket, and if I feel uncomfortable my hand goes in the the pocket. From there I can use it quickly but nobody sees it in advance.

What improvised weapons are handy at Wal-Mart or your local grocery store?

Grab the next fire exinguisher. It has a rood range, and seeing/breathing sucks if you are on the receiving end. It also has enough "ammo".

    Conversion Kit German Pistol

This is a Target shooting Pistol. It does not make sense to have it for self defense. In Germany, it is common to have a .22 and a .32 System with one Pistol as you can shoot two sport disciplines but only need the license for one pistol.

    1918 trench knife

This: http://www.boker.de/index.php?c=10,,&a=121918&p=&pp=0 is a now manufactured replica. Count the number of serrations on the grip, this copy has one to little. Her is another copy: http://www.aus-omas-truhe.de/aot2/action-detail/cat_id-1/item_id-423/Grabendolch%201.%20Weltkrieg.html...
