I'm cross eye dominant and learning to shoot was a little difficult but I went ahead and decided when I was still young that I was going to shoot lefty. Because my finger was trainable my right eye isn't.

IMHO the only guns I personally consider to be investments would be either registered machine guns and classic guns that are either unique or limited production guns but just because a gun is valuable it does not necessarily mean it is an investment.

I wouldn't put switch out the trigger in the DD I have order. I prefer a mil spec one but I'd like squeeze that flat trigger that geisele makes but mainly that's just out of curiosity.
I just put a deposit down on a DDM4V5 and I've shot everything from rental bushmasters to a true 416 and I decided that the DD is the best rifle on the market that I can justify spending the money on. If I ever want to shoot a Noveske or HK well that's what friends are for.
