I’ve mounted and looked through many Crossfire’s. To my eyes the glass is subpar compared to a Fullfield in good light. In low light the difference is even more pronounced.

For me the Mossberg. Less recoil and I believe it’s better quality. I owned a Stoeger for several years and it didn’t have any problems but I’d still take a SA-20. And it’s not even close.

I would not try to hazard a guess on what the issue is. But I would contact Hatfield because due to the nature of the malfunction, in my mind it would be in their best interest to fix it at no charge.
