    Another 357

You got a nice one, there...nice price, also. My 686 is my favorite DA revolver...been shot a ton competitively and otherwise...still tight.

    Worst advice ever printed

Whatever happened to personal responsibility...like...know what you are doing before you delve into something. If some clown comes along and just takes this info on a developmental cartridge and runs with it...his fate is on him.

Why is the Nat'l Matches being moved out of Camp Perry?

I have read on several forums that safety was one of the issues...boats on the lake.

    What has happened to THR

Sorry, don't like it...but I don't pay the bills here...so, I can take it or leave it...will probably move along. Like a few others have said...this will be a good thing for me as I will drift away from this forum...spent too much time here and there are other forums that I learn more from...

    Uberti Cattleman price opinion

Well, then...you need to buy the Ruger. They DO NOT handle like a SAA...close only counts in horseshoes, water balloons and hand grenades. And, 99.9% of shooters will never shoot a clone enough for the "reliability" to be a problem. My only New Vaquero had to make a trip back to Ruger to...

    XS sights at 50 yds

For a snub revolver carried for defensive purposes, like the LCR...they are hard to beat.

Winchester .44 Angle Eject Trapper with no safety

In my area, $650 is about as cheap as you will find any Trapper...including the crossbolt safety model...they are just high here as there aren't many of them around. I have one and $650 would not buy it.

    The Deal That Got Away

I bought all of my Dillon equipment off craigslist...like absolute new. Bought an Army doctor out...everything he had...lot of high power stuff, also. Sold off everything that I did not have a use for...when it was all sold off, I only had about $265 dollars in a brand new 550, 3 caliber...

Upgraded to a Lyman Mag 25 Furnace.

I try to maintain about 725 with my Lee pot. Sometimes it is a bit challenging...but it gets the job done, bullets look good, shoot great. I have been using my Lee pot for many years...and I guess that I am fortunate...it has never leaked a single drop, although I have seen many reports from...

Ruger cast vs. Smith & Wesson forged.

You need to read some of Elmer Keith's "Gun Notes" and some of John Linebaugh's writing concerning Smith and Wesson cylinders...their findings are contrary to what you are posting here. They found the Smith cylinders to be totally on par with Ruger strength and Keith had Ruger guns to fail to...

S&W model 60 why no love?

No love here for the 60...never wanted a snub with an exposed hammer. Been carrying a gun for 38yrs and have never had any use for a snub with exposed hammer...just don't like it. Only reason that I carry a snub is self defense...so,I don't need the hammer and I shoot all of my DA revolvers...

Ruger Pistol Customers - LGS employees chime in?

I buy almost everything online...I don't threaten folks with the "I can buy it cheaper somewhere else"...I just buy it somewhere cheaper. I buy a lot of guns on gunbroker...most of them are bought by making an offer, to the seller. But, if they don't accept...I just make someone else an offer on...
