Is there T.R.P.-PRO level performance at a lower price point?

In the premium brands, in terms accuracy (1st) and fit & finish (2nd)? For instance some Les Baers are less expensive, how do those stack up? Or the S&W P.C. or Colt's S.C.G.- not in the same league? Some incredible reviews on the Professional, so I think that would be hard to beat at any...

    nill grips

Or I assume they are nill grips- but have "Sig Sauer" printed instead, except I don't see those on their site. Any clue where to get these (or any other wood grips F.T.M.) for the P232? Edit- well I found the Hogue cocobolo's for this one, unfortunately they are not much less expensive...

    Thinnest & Lightest D.A./S.A.?

Caliber negotiable, but D.A./S.A. is not (although can be of the striker fired "D.A./S.A." variety like the P99, so long as heavier/longer first pull). Bonus points for no M.S. and a grip frame that accommodates 3 fingers like the 17.6 oz. P232 does.

    blue, two-tone, or stainless (p232)

Blue & two-tone weigh 5 oz less than the S.S. model, but the blue slide will be less resistent to holster wear and environment. The two-tone model seems to be best of both worlds, because it's lighter yet slide is S.S. for wear resist. This would be a no-brainer, except I'm not big on the...

    S&W Performance Center

The top one is the P.C. 629- the grips look more comfortable if a little cheaper than those on the 21, and I prefer its matte S.S. over the nickel finish, but I do like the classic's 4" barrel vs. 3", its tall F.S. They are 38 & 37 oz respectively, and the P.C. model is about $100 more...

What do you consider an "anti"?

Say someone was into hunting, shooting sports, an N.R.A. member, and collected firearms- but didn't for instance support open carry, and didn't fundamentally oppose certain limitations or qualifications (I.E. background checks, or even banning certain types of firearms etc). Do you put them...

    .223 velocity x barrel length

It was a while ago, but someone around here has a graph of velocity varying over barrel length. Longshot, but if anyone knows what I'm talking about I'd appreciate a repost or link etc. Thanks.

H.K. date of manufacture from S.N.?

Anyone know how I can determine what date my P2000 was manufactured?

    P99 vs P2000

Need a high quality polymer .40 S.W. combining what I like about my Sig (D.A./S.A. configuration, smooth ergs) and my GLOCK (light weight and bullet-proof finish). These two look the part (in A.S. and V3). I've handled the P2000 only, the clerk wasn't real interested so I didn't push him to...

If you get factory N.S. on H.K.'s

What brand/type are they? Not the temporary luminous sights like on the P30, but three dot tritium sights on a P2000 for instance. What brand night sights does H.K. put on them? Thanks.

Is the P2000 actually a little thicker than the S.K.?

Not much (1.34" vs 1.28"), but still- they both have the ambi slide release, so is the S.K. actually a slightly thinner in the frame/slide? I was thinking they were of identical width.

Milt Sparks users: Horse or Cow hide?

They are about the same price in the V.M. II, pros and cons of each?

    Why does the .40sw p2000sk have 1/2" longer S.R. than 9mm version?

Considering every other measurement is identical, including overall and barrel (page 13 in the manual): Sights Three dot, fixed patridge Three dot, fixed patridge style, drift adjustable style, drift adjustable Total Length 163 mm (6.42 in.) 163 mm (6.42 in.) Barrel Length 83 mm (2.48...

Anyone try their P.P.S. in a Galco U.S.A. or U.D.C. yet?

Same overall dimensions as a G26, except for width. Quite a bit thinner.

p2000sk owners- can you get your pinky on the grip?

Considering it's 4.5" (4.61" with mag)? Not sure how big this guys hands are, is it a close one, no problem, or no go for you? I guess that 1/2" of extra height (vs the 26 for instance) is all in the slide. I realize H.K. is a different class of quality, but a 4.5" tall kahr or bring a baby...

    Anyone have both a p239 and p220?

Only pictures I can find of them in the same shot are side by side profile style, no "top views" (or even bottom, or rear etc would work). I know the .2" difference in width is across the grips, but I'm trying to figure out if the p239 is also any thinner in the frame and slide as well, or only...

Who makes a D.A./S.A. thinner and flatter than a P220?

Would be nice if it was of H.K. or Sig quality, but I'd even consider a Ruger or Taurus if they have something considerably thinner. I like .45, but willing to compromise on caliber so long as it's >/= 9mm. And while I'm not a fan of rails, manual safeties, gadget backstraps, I.L.'s, M.D.'s...

Anywone think Walther will make a P.P.S. with an "anti stress" trigger?

It's so thin. Maybe a little long overall for its barrel length, but high quality. I'd buy one for sure if they made a T.D.A. version. Guess their A.S. trigger wasn't as popular as the Q.A. Even if we exclude the P.P.S., Walthers are still about the thinnest quality T.D.A.'s out there...

Help from Sig guys- something fell off my p220

On the side opposite the mag release and decocker, there are two "dots" inset in the slide (in the middle of the serrations). One of these dots has fallen out (gone)! I guess I'll have to call Sig to get another one sent to me, but in the meantime- W.T.F. was that, and is its absence purely a...

Anyone had a Sig S.A.S. converted to T.D.A. trigger?

And if you sent it back to Sig for this, how much did it cost?
