    British PM on knives.

I don't know if "most" is correct. I haven't made a complete summary of all 50 states, but I surveyed the laws of about 20 states and only two of them had any open carry restrictions on length.

SCOTUS Justice Barrett has requested a resp to a lawsuit challenging Illinois AWB & Magazine ban

Lets remember that this decision was made on the procedural merits of the request being made, e.g. the "shadow docket" process for SCOTUS. Declining to make the ruling has nothing to do with the legal merit or validity of the AWBs being considered in the case.

I'm Not Sure, But Maybe I Want An AK

Again, the point was that the price points you're basing the logic in your post on were artificially low even then (again, state-run factories and slave labor leading to cheap US imports), which makes the gun owner's entire "because it was inexpensive, that means it is not of quality...

AR-15 Article: Some Won't Like It, But....

I owned a Mini-14 in the late 80s and early 90s, it was my first semiautomatic rifle. It was fine at the time, but when I compare it to the AR pattern rifles that are currently available for a fraction of the price, it isn't even close competition. The arguments used by that author are pretty...

I'm Not Sure, But Maybe I Want An AK

If I were just buying my first AK in the current market, I'd go with one of the 5.56 options: either the Polish options from WPB or FB Radom, the Zastava M90 or M85, or the Arsenal SAM5. If one was hard-over on getting a 7.62 AK just to keep it original to the design, basically the same advice...

I'm Not Sure, But Maybe I Want An AK

The mistake here is thinking that what something was worth 30 years ago is what they are/should be worth today. Can you imagine someone saying that their $30,000 house they bought in 1990 should only be worth $30,000 today....I mean, its still the same house, "regardless of what they charge...

Future of the Beretta 92 Series

I did that for years, until I took a course that made me fix type 3 malfunctions under time constraints. Can't make "thumb over" manipulations of left-side controls while still maintaining positive control and being fast enough to clear the malfunction, reload, and get a shot off in time.

Future of the Beretta 92 Series

In some cases they bring left-handed slide stop/release levers, which are a big deal if you're doing anything timed as a southpaw.

World's TOP 5 worst AK producers

The criticism of IO AKs is related to their US-built offerings, not imports.

World's TOP 5 worst AK producers

When/where have you seen these Chinese AKs? If you're referring to any of the Chinese AKs in the United States that were imported in the 80s and 90s, that's not what is being discussed in the top post. They're talking about 2020 current-production rifles that are being exported to other...

World's TOP 5 worst AK producers

Of course there is...that's not actually logic. I'm sure in about 30 seconds you can name a dozen products or brands in the United States that used to produce a high quality product in the past, but whose current production is considered cheaper or inferior.

World's TOP 5 worst AK producers

Having seen some of the current-production Chinese AKs in Afghanistan, I can without question say there is a massive difference between the Chinese AKs exported to the US in the 80s and 90s and the current rifles that Vladimir Onokoy is referring to in that article (and in a video he made on the...

Investigators say gun used in Truck Park bar shooting linked to straw purchase

No, voting for lawmakers who prefer kneejerk and ineffective solutions are how laws like that come into being.

Wrong Glock parts in my gun?

Yes, it is just a piece that sticks in from the back of the slide and trips the reset bar by pushing it to the side. The good news is that there's nothing about the aftermarket parts that make them any more susceptible to this happening accidentally than OEM Glock parts.

Nobody home builds Glock-pattern handguns to save money.

Wrong Glock parts in my gun?

That's the same ejector that comes on all these aftermarket lower parts kits, which are advertised as being for "17/19/22/23". I've put quite a few of 'em together on P80 and 3D printed frames and haven't had any reliability issues with slide fitment, FTE, or anything else using that very...

Wrong Glock parts in my gun?

You can see in the first shot he posted the little casting mark on the side of the housing which is typical of the cheap aftermarket parts kits. The lack of markings on, and shape of, the ejector are also telltale signs of it not being OEM. The final nail in the coffin is the black colored...

Vendors for Glock 22 slides & barrels?

Yes, there are tons....but right now, supply is low (and prices are high) on all things Glock-style parts while we are in the midst of an 80% and 3D-printed frame frenzy. Big Tex Ordnance is usually in supply: https://www.bigtexordnance.com/product/glock-gen-3-oem-40s-complete-22-23-27-35/...
