Thank you both for your response. I really like the Trigicons for the brightness aspect but wonder if they will be "shape" enough to catch a belt or pants for one handed racking.
Thanks on optics plannet, I never thought of them.
Hopefully this is the correct forum to put this under. I am looking for a more tactical sight to install on a Shield and a full size M&P 40. I like the I.C.E. claw but on there site it doesn't appear that they are available. What I am looking for is a sight that will allow for one hand...
Somewhat of a loaded question. In my mind an ethical kill is a fast clean kill which means shot placement and proper penetration. If a 223 means a small framed person or a child can make dime size shots at 100 yards over a 5" circle with a larger caliber then I say yes more then enough.
My father started taking me to gun shows in the 70's...my wife and I went to gun shows in the 90's...I take my children to gun shows today. Probably been to 100 or better over the years. Have only bought two or three guns...do find some old hard to find ammo..Nick nacks and such..
What I gain...
I have been reading about MSR's for some time now. Finally got one a few months back and have been noticing real good prices on stripped lowers which leads me to a question. What would be a good price on a complete lower or better yet what would be an average price to build a stripped lower up...
another suggestion would have a list of the guns and call Durysguns.com. I have not personally delt with them on a sale but have a couple of friends who have. A gun shop is going to make money, they have to or they won't stay in business. Durys and other good shops will tell you what they are...
Not to change your o.p. but have you looked at the new ruger. Two of my friends got one and really impressed with it. I am not big into the AR platform but from what I have seen the ruger seems well put together.
I would consider used also as long as you know new price. If you are on Facebook look for bowhunting sites on there. Lots of good bows for sale for good prices.
I my self went with a parker, only after my picky wife got hers and I really liked it. Small, Light, and relatively quiet as far as...
I see your point but this is a hobby not a business. If you want to treat it as a business then fine but do you factor in your cost of time for everything else you do? (I.e. mowing lawn, cleaning house and such) even though that is more of a chore then it is a Hobbie it is still your time...
I am on a trip cross the states. I think I am pretty confident on where I can and can't carry but am a little confused on Las vegas. Going to be there a week and spend most of it in Las Vegas convention center...possible casino or two and then various other places. From what I can gather unless...
RC has it covered pretty good. I have lots of old hunting stuff passed down from generations of hunters and fisherman. The fuel type ones I used at one time but are used for ice fishing now because of smell...I still on and off will use the "stick" type ones and put them in my back pocket to...
Doesn't the FFL still fill out a purchase permit...you as a buyer are just not required to go to local police dept and get one yourself. But one is still required isn't it??
Not in Chi town...wish I could. Am I the only one going to this??
On a separate site I asked if anyone else in the area was going and received a less then anticipated response. Has anyone on this site gone to this event?
