Take a look at 375Raptor. Built for a short action but you’d have unlimited bullet hang-out if you found it necessary.

Thank you sir. My Mod7 probably has a 20" barrel but it's lovingly used and has been threaded and brake-d. I don't want the brake and don't trust the threading as I have no idea who did the work. So, I'm gonna cut it off. I'll recrown it myself. I'll then find out where the lands are and go...

What weight projectile are you running and is it a hunting gun or just a fun little plinker?

Barrel is OEM/stock but has an insanely large muzzle brake on it. I have the lathe and tooling and plan to cut those threads off and re-crown. It also is coming with a NIB HS Precision stock. So, some fun, easy work ahead.
