How about we ponder this for a little?
Say you just bought your first gun (like my neighbor who just turned 18 Monday and bought a rifle in .30-06), and want ammo. Well, the store you bought the gun at only has Fusion Lite loads for your .30-06 (again, like my neighbor). Where is the...
I have a Taurus TCP732 and it's a fun little gun. The recoil doesn't kill you since it's not a .380, and it is reliable. The only downside is that .32 ammo is decently pricey for its size.
I rock my Walkers Alpha Muffs. Love them. Only thing that is different with using the Alphas to regular muffs for me is that you hear more of the "after shot" if you will, since it blocks out above a certain decibel rating and not a blanket suppression.
Eyes and ears are 2 things you really...
Read what he said. He didn't say the 18" barrel was the reason. He simply stated that the shotgun manufacturer will sell a gun with a shorter barrel (less component cost), no choke, no nothing (even less component cost) to someone for more money than the comparable "hunting" version. Chill...
If you're going to shoot .30-06 power out of a .300 WM, shouldn't you just buy a .30-06? Plus, as was said, it's not cheap to buy factory ammo for the win mag.
Sounds like a lot of pro-firearm tourists need to write letters to these three Senators and let them know that if their vote were to be the one that led to this being passed, said tourist will never spend a dime in their state. People get hung up on the fact that yes, they listen to their...
From the Hornady web site:
Hornady Critical Defense ammunition is the pinnacle in self defense ammunition
Unaffected by thick and heavy clothing, including denim and leather.
FTX bullet delivers superior controlled expansion and large, deep wound cavities over a wide range of velocities.
The XTP bullet is a hollow point. The bullet you get in critical defense rounds are FTX.
The theory with the insert is that it physically forces the bullet to expand on impact, and cannot be clogged by heavy clothing.
Don't trust PolitiFact too much. It is run by my local rag of a newspaper. They use opinion to determine if something is true or not, and if it is any bit unclear, a republican is always mostly false or false, a Democrat is usually mostly true. Just the way it is.
I have a Gen I 24/7 Pro C .40, bought it in 08 tons of rounds. I love the gun, but HATE HATE HATE the Heinie Straight 8 sights. It is completely backwards of everything I was taught, you have to aim point of impact, and they are pretty much only good right at 25 yards if accuracy is something...
New Orleans did it, why not Alabama? Thankfully Florida has a law on the state books that does not allow counties or cities or towns to have more restrictive firearms laws than the state.
You have to remember, they had a lot of ammunition in stock when this situation started and it all sold out. They are also constantly getting new ammo in for the new orders coming in. These places generally run pretty lean on employees, that's why they can keep their prices decently low...
Core-Lokts work great in .30-30s, I use the 170 gr loads for pigs around here.. As was said...the only pointy tip you want to use would be LeverEvolution.
