    Single Shot Rifles

www.chuckhawks.com has a write up on the Browning Hi Wall. I have submitted two article which he has published. He may be interested in having a review and comparison. I'd drop him an e-mail. He may have some first hand knowledge of this particular gun. BTW...I think the falling block is...

    Single Shot Rifles

If they are falling blocks they could be a copy of the Browning Hi-Wall. The Browning was a supurb single shot. I believe they are of Farquharson design. Browning has sold the rights to the patent and a small handful of manufactures have produced the copy under their name (reminds me of FN...

Could the cartoon violence lead to rifle bans?

    I don't think ray guns should be legal.....for the children's sake.:p

:scrutiny: I admire the quality of the work, but I can't admit to really appreciating it asthetically.

    Bush is Insane

I didn't know you could own a gun if you have been diagnoised with a mental illness. This is the strangest thread I have read.

    Bush is Insane

Why the irony? I suppose I'd stop short of saying it's his responsibility, but it's certainly his agenda. I can't help but think that Bush doesn't really seem like a "R" at heart. Spending is up a bunch and don't tell me that personal freedoms (less gov.) has improved.:scrutiny:

    Rifle butt accessory

A gun purse, huh. Maybe if it had sequens or tastles. Carpet burn? I like the butt pads that swing out to show a hidden chamber. Much cleaner looking.

    Favorite hunting?

#1 Dove (however I'd love quail just as much if I could shoot on the wing better - them suckers are quick.) I like dove meat better. #2 hog or deer #3 turkey, not that the hunt is incredibly enjoyable; but the meat in absolutly fantastic and quite a bit different from domestic turkeys...

    DFW Group Shoot - 01.29.06

I've found that same woman also highly unpleasant. After my year membership was up I never looked back. I am now going to the Garland Range. Unlike Gibson's they have a shotgun/clay throwing area. Also unlike Gibson's they have been very accomodating. Membership is lifetime too (as I...

    Hunter's Apology

If happiness is a warm gun ... then ecstasy is pulling out the backstrap and tenders....afterglow is quartering and butchering. I'd be willing to bet that there was not a squeemish Native American in camp when it came to field dressing a bufallo. I welcome Gordo's discourse; and I think...

    hides

Sun; The dogs down here are RARELY suitable for skinning. The hot weather makes it almost impossible for the 'yotes to develp a winter coat. I only shoot for preditor control (should be doing a better job of that too.) Now if I can draw a bead on a bobcat (one was taken this past Dec.) or...
