Looking at a 20 ga. 870 barrel for my sons gun. It's a 20 ga. Wingmaster 2 3/4" chamber but the barrel I'm looking at is a 2 3/4" or 3" barrel. Looks like a 870 Express barrel, it's the dark Matte finish. Would there be a problem using it on a 2 3/4 inch receiver?
Finally stuck a piece of .308 brass. First time after about 9 years of reloading. YouTubed and since it's a Lee die I tried to hammer the resizing pin out and it won't budge. Not even a little. Since it seems to be really stuck does anyone think I should get every thing I need to drill and tap...
Several years ago I worked with a guy that had a crack cocaine problem. When he finally straightened his act out, he used to tell us stories about his addiction and one he told was of him crawling around on the floor looking for his last small piece he dropped. Yesterday I dropped a LR primer...
What bullets do you reload with? By long range I mean under 400 yds. I am going to purchase a 308. for this purpose and have no idea about long range bullets, or shooting for that matter but will study it and practice it. Thanks in advance.
Picked up a handful of 308 brass at my gun club yesterday and when I decapped them the two Hornady cases were hard to do. I looked at the primer pocket when i was done and noticed what looks like a crimp ring, like you would see on military brass. Anyone else ever see this?
I've got a few recipes, one using H4985 16 grs. at 1409 ft. per sec. with a max of 22 grs. at 1864, both using 170 gr. flat nose. Anybody ever use the Hornady FXT bullets? Any help would be great, thanks.
I'm new to reloading and would like to know what large rifle primers you folks prefer. I'm not doing any match shooting, just plinking and some hunting loads, 32-40, 30-06 and 308. Thanks.
I'm new to the site and rifle reloading. I need to find a place to pick up powder and primers in the Central NY area. Is there anybody in the area that sells WC 746? I would like to build a cheap load for my 2A Enfield and WC 746 seems an economical powder. Any info is appreciated, thanks.
