    Freedom Arms Fan Boy?

I purchased a Lipsey Special, Ruger Bisley Convertible about 4 years ago. That looks just like it but I have a shorter barrel. It came as a 45 Long Colt/ 45 ACP. I spent $700 on it. First time on the range I fell in love with it.

    B.A.D Levers, yea or nay?

I guess it is personal preference. I have them on all my AR'a and have had them on for 2 years now. Once you get pro efficient at using them there is no going back. I love them but that is my own opinion .

Ive never before had this happen when mounting a scope.

As long as the rings are level front to back there shouldn't be a problem. Check for level from the front to the back where the scope rests, that should be parallel with the receiver. It appears to be that the scope rings were manufactured wrong or your scope rail mount is off!

I had a Ruger convertible in the late 80's in .357 mag / 9mm and loved it. Unfortunately I sold it and regretted it ever since! Here I am in my late 60's and still shooting a Ruger Vaquero in 45 LC / .45 CAP. Hands are still strong and loving it.

    Sears & Roebuck Model 45 / Marlin 336

When I was living in N.J and when I turned 18, I applied for my shotgun and rifle permit. The Marlin 336 in .35 Remington was the first rifle I bought. I paid $65 dollars at the time and I still use it for deer in Pa. although the ammo is hard to find.

Who was your biggest influence in the firearms/shooting world?

Mine was my Father. He would take us ( brother, sister and I) to the range on Sundays. This was the only day he had off. He was also an avid hunter so my brother and I started out by pushing through fields and brush for game till we were of age to get a hunting license. From there we would hunt...
