I just got this system and had 5 long guns to range with all my target supplies etc. I packed a few steel targets on top; very cool the envy of the parking lot at the range.
Check out the video of this cool gun transport unit.
Very little luck doing this got one on the target. but I am going to work on this little project and see if I can get more consistent results. A spotter following the swirl would help. Not something you need to do everday but a fun experiment.

Your right and the interrupter works on my rifle but this ammo is a little bit nasty. A few guys were having the same issue with this batch of ammo when we had a little "Stalingrad" match at the range. Not sure what the issue is but it is cheap Chinese ammo once we switch to east bloc ammo...
I took the Mosin last week and the old girl (1942) still shoots pretty good. I was hitting things at 300 yards prone and standing at 100 yards.
I thought to myself a soldier that got to live long enough to understand how his/her rifle worked had a good weapon in the Mosin Nagant...
I try and do a video every month and hopefully people find them interesting or it makes them interested in something. I just posted something on powder coating and a Smith and Wesson shotgun that is some what under known. I do this because its fun not for money I can prove it :) If you watch...
My first attempt at powder coating. Well my second my first batch I left the rack up too high and melted all my bullets LOL.
They turned out cool. Check out the video on link below. The powder coat added 2 grains to the over all weight of the bullet.

Inproper take downs over the years squeeze the threads and make the opening smaller. I had the issue with an 1897. The only thing that worked was a new mag tube. I would try the spring first.
Choate is an A+ company in my books. Canadian friendly which is even better. For the Canadians out there just call your order in and if its legal its in the mail. The website doesn't let you ship to Canada but a quick call with a friendly person sure does.
Anyway the President Fred...
Don't know why but I couldn't get 700 to come up last night. I got a nice load out that should be 8000PSI and 1150 fps. That should do the trick. I think my skeet club has the right wads
I have some 700x and I am looking for suggestions for a low recoil shell.
I have a good supply of Remingtom club hulls. A few suggestions on recipes and wads. My 16 year olds is ready for the pump shotgun world and I want something light so she enjoys the experience.
We'll be shooting...
These were all made in Japan by Howa I believe. Mossburg bought out the gun and the Mossburg 3000 turns out to be a S&W 3000.
FYI Choate started making the mag extensions again. There customer service is pretty good I got to talk to Fred Choate the pres... I wanted to ship to Canada and...
Oh yes and it is lovely. Wow lots of guys had these. I took it to range today and most of the guys never heard of these and were impressed with the action. Apparently we are breaking it in this weekend at the skeet club with a hip shooting match.
Thanks for the great insights especially...
Candyman these are a complete departure from the 916 and is mostly an 870 with some differences. The 916 had a tang safety and looked more like a Mossberg 500 well 500 ish...
As I like to say its a metric 870:D
I picked this up a week ago and just got it out for a shoot. It runs well on cheap ammo but runs great on Federal 00 buck.
These are handy shotguns and can be picked up cheap. They are smooth and reliable and a great option for someone looking for a pumpgun. One thing the slide release...
