Finally found a 45 Win Mag I liked. Not sure when it will arrive. Colorado is shut down. Am looking for some articles and any experiences you all have concerning the pistols. Thanks.
Does anyone have any experience with the 45 Win mag Grizzly? I think I want one. Have a bunch of ammo, but no pistol. Are there other good options? Do not want a Wildey. Had one, did not like it.
Did Beto's rant during the debates in Texas inadvertently surface the Democrat party position. I see a mad scramble on TV from Democrat spokespeople saying" not the is not the DNC position.
Someone here posted comments about why they considered the S&W 629 Mountain gun the best of the breed. I would like to learn more. My LGS has one for 750. No box or papers. It does not appear to have been abused. I am considering it. What say you?
I am in the market for a Ruger 44 mag. I have a Redhawk in 45/45ACP but it does not seem to balance quite right in my hands. Does anyone have an opinion on which bbl length has the best balance.
I am getting a Browning 1886 rifle in 45-70. Have wanted one for 30 yrs and finally bit the bullet. I know little about the cartridge , just think the rifle is cool. I am surprised at how pricey they are given the competition and the round. I figure in my hands its about a 100 yd. rifle...
I bought a 327 a while back and have as yet had no opportunity to shoot it. I sold my Ruger Buckeye 32 mag for more than I paid but have a bunch of cartridges. Soooo, when the 327 came out I bought a nice Ruger GP 100. Put stag inserts in rubber grips and have an oooh, ahhhh revolver. Then I...
I have a couple of pistols I regularly carry. The trigger pull is ok but a friend of mine was dry firing and remarked that the pull was heavy. My thought is that I do not want a target trigger on a pistol I may have to use for self defense. What do you who are involved in serious social work...
Anybody have a new mfg 1991 Colt Commander XE 9mm? How is accuracy? I picked one up today and like the way it feels. Put a set of Crimson Trace grips on it because they were there and I thought it would help me. I see the red dot much clearer than the sights. Just hope the gun shoots groups...
Anyone have experience with Sellier & Benoit 9mm ammo? It appears to be reasonably priced. I just bought a Colt Commander( I have a commander sized holster and needed a filler) and am looking for something to shoot. Since I am 78, that is all I may be doing is just looking. I do not seem to be...
I was shooting my used BAR 270 Weatherby for groups before deciding whether to cerakote it. I cleaned the bbl very well. It appears to require at least 6 fouling shots before group size is reduced. Prior groups exceeded 3" I used both 130 gr and 140 gr rounds. After the fouling shots, the...
Any opinions concerning Gary Reeder revolvers. I was looking at a 44 mag on the internet that looked pretty neat. I saw a Coyote in 327 Federal that seemed real nice. Someone on another forum pointed out that he was one of those guys you either loved or hated or loved to hate.
Does anyone have any experience with these rifles? I think I want one. I lost my deer lease and am having to hunt where my shots are 200 yds. or more. Am looking for something that "if I can see hair thru my scope, I can hit it". Would prefer 257 Weatherby, but can not find one in a BAR.
I just traded some stuff for an STI 9mm Elekta. Gonna get rid of the pink grips as soon as I find my other grips that fit. Can not remember where I put them last week. Bummer. I have wanted an
STI just for good bull.(Texas Aggies know what I mean) I like the size, Had a choice between this...
Took my "new to me" pistols to range yesterday. My buddy shot a few magazines through the Barer. That gun will shoot. At an estimated 12 yds, he shot the diamond out of a rifle target we were using to zero deer rifles. With the 38 Super he kept the group around the diamond with one flyer...
