Paper for making combustible paper cartridges?

Ditto on the cig papers. Been using them for years, and super easy to find. I used to get the same looks from the clerk behind the counter too- Thinking Im gonna use them for wacky weed. I finally took a box of my completed paper cartridges in with me one day to show them what I was...

    The THR 1851/1860 Club

I'm currently without an 1860, but I did own three at one time not so long ago. Lost them in the midst of my divorce preceedings. So I guess I'm more of an alumni. When I'm finished with alimony in a couple months, You can bet I will be getting a few back. In the meantime- Here are some pics...

    Guntucky, epic face palm

Was not impressed either. In the episode with the Civil War reenactors, They bought a bunch of black powder guns for 5K. If that is how much they are buying them for, Im gonna sell them mine and go buy new ones- And make a heck of a profit!!

should I go for this trade--Makarov for bulk ammo

They are producing ammo everyday, 24/7. They are NOT making Bulgarian Makarovs anymore...... John P.S. I picked up (3) boxes of Tulammo at WalMart today for $5.17 per 20rd box. They had 15+ boxes on the shelf- I'll keep pecking at it until its sold out :)

You know ammo is scarce when...

    - You start collecting aluminum cans just to fund ammo purchases. - The baby sitter wants to be paid in 'bullets per hour' instead of dollars per hour. - You have to take out additional homeowners insurance to cover your ammo stash. - .22 shorts are even sold out at the LGS. - The local TV...

Survival Knife shown on a cable TV program

I remember watching that episode too, but I can't remember the name of the program. It is on the same channel as Doomsday Preppers. I was interested in the knife too, but didn't catch it's name. The guy was using it as an axe, pulling nails out with it, etc..... Looked like a very useful...

    S&W 645 problems

Here are pics of my old 645 to compare it to. I don't know about the problem you are having, but I agree that you should have a gunsmith check it out. I sold my 645 about a year ago and have been kicking myself since. It was built like a tank- I could cycle empty shell casings through that...

    Ruger LC9

I have an LC9 with the Laserlyte mounted on the side. I have a few holsters hanging around here, but had a problem with the laser turning on when my pistol was inserted in any of my holsters. I have a DeSantis Pocket Tuk intended for my Bulgy Makarov that actually fit my LC9 better. I ended...

K98 Mauser Project Rifle is Complete (Project German Blonde)

You sure turned that rifle into a beauty! I agree with Betty in that I really enjoy unmodified military weapons mostly for their historical connection. But I also realize that what happened to these captured weapons after they served during wartime is as much a part of their history too...
