I agree with you 100%. I asked the same question about hicaps, and it seems that we can keep any mags we already own. Just like CA, its probably difficult to prove exactly when you acquired them.
But, it doesn't seem like mags need to be registered (except .50s).
Does anybody have an answer to my question? I even emailed ISP, but their automated reply suggests I shouldn't hold my breath waiting for a reply. Makes sense. Why make it easy to get the correct, official information in plain language.
On isp website, FAQ about PICA.... one Q asks if large cap ammo feeding devices need a disclosure. Answer: no, it only pertains to firearms.
