    New Saiga .410 question...

With a little horse trading, I've ended up with a Saiga .410. I was wondering if the adjustable gas plug is a standard feature or not. I suppose I'll find out later tonight when I rip it apart, but if anyone can tell me beforehand I'd appreciate it.

Handgun Carry in the Old West

In the large photo I posted, does it look like a small revolver sticking out of the far right man's pocket?

    Rossi m92 44 mag: can I shoot 44 special?

No safety issues, feeding may be a problem, but my parents have a matching pair of .357 92's, and have put thousands of rounds of .38 through them without a hiccup.

Handgun Carry in the Old West

Tell me about it Krogen. I have been attempting to piece together my families history from that period, which is apparently another one of the proverbial skeletons in the closet. My grandfather only told a few stories about Colorado, but he was only 3 when all this happened. Hell, I just...

Handgun Carry in the Old West

If by "stock," you mean prints have been provided to public sources such as the DPL(http://digital.denverlibrary.org/cdm/search/searchterm/%20Mining--Colorado--Trinidad--1910-1920./mode/exact), then yes. Yes they are period photos, aparently taken in Trinidad. Google, "Camp Beshoar."

    Who here still eats rabbit?

I did when I was in high school, but got out of it for a while. My father-in-law and I have been using it as an excuse to get out of the house when it isn't deer season the last couple of years though. It's great until his blue tick pup takes off after a deer and I'm expected to chase it down.

They're the UMWA's negotiators.;) Still trying to peg down where it was taken in 1913. I thought that might be the Tercio company store in the background, but it had evenly spaced dormers.

Researching family revolver: Colorado Coal field wars.

This is sad. We literally have my mom's family traced back to 1590, but my dad's starts and stops there in Colorado. There is literally no info, and what I have doesn't really mesh. Found a neat picture of the hotel workers though, looked like bartenders right out of a John Wayne movie...
