What is the best stainless steel media tumbler?

Thanks to everyone who replied, I like the cement mixer idea, how ever I don't need to tumble that much brass at once. 1000 to 2000 45 ACP brass should be my upper limit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What is the best stainless steel media tumbler?

Looking at a stainless steel media tumbler for less than $400 which one is the best? The search function on tapatalk received no results, having a hard time believing this hasn't been discussed before. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Where are reloading components available (Not a Discussion Thread)

Can't remember what they have besides the unique. I know they did not have bull's-eye, unique was the only one they had that I was looking for, but they had a lot of different kinds of powder. The last time I was in there they only had a couple of jugs and it was all rifle.

Where are reloading components available (Not a Discussion Thread)

I stopped in at the Cabela's on the north side of Fort Worth Texas, they had tons of unique in 1 pound cans for $25 and they had a lot of other powders too. It looks like things are getting better. Has anyone else noticed this?

Why do you carry a gun in the first place

Unfortunately I had to learn the hard way , that this jar head is not bulletproof only bullet resistant. Receiving a 380 slug to the head for helping someone out was a real wake-up call. I have carried ever since.

    7.62x54r

You're welcome. That site has everything known to man about those guns, I believe, it's a very thorough site.

    7.62x54r

I did some checking on that site. It looks like they used both .310 and .311 diameter bullets. The most common weights are 147 and 148, however they go up to 204 grains.

    7.62x54r

I haven't tried reloading for this yet, but if I'm not mistaken isn't the 147 grain the standard military load? you might try looking at 7.62x54r.net , there is all kinds of information about those rifles on that site.

    Garand loads

If I'm not mistaken the Hornady manual has a section for the grand and maybe some of the other manuals due too

    RIA 1911 .45 ACP Tactical

    $123.00 including shipping.

    RIA 1911 .45 ACP Tactical

Unfortunately this is true. This on the other hand is not necessarily true. There are guys with safes full of expensive guns, that are not what I would call shooters. Then there's guys like me which would rather have a $450 Rock Island Armory tactical model that will eat any ammo you feed...

    RIA 1911 .45 ACP Tactical

I hope you guys are happy! This thread cost me money. I bought 4 ETM mags while they were on sale.

What Would You Pay Colt 1911 ?

Inevitably this is true, software is more important than hardware. The more you shoot the more you improve that software between your ears. I believe my money is better spent on ammo and training time, than expensive guns that work no better than the reasonably priced ones.

    Sounds like a good deal.

What Would You Pay Colt 1911 ?

An old gun fixed up like the one mentioned above is better than a new one of the same style any day.

What Would You Pay Colt 1911 ?

So you're saying your S&W 1911 cost $1200 and did not come with features such as a Beavertail safety, a beveled magazine well, Adjustable sights, And other features that come standard on a lot of modern made 1911's

What Would You Pay Colt 1911 ?

Why did all the competition shooters of the 1970s and 80s do all those modifications to the Colts so they could compete with them. During that time the competition guys would get an out-of-the-box Colt and take it immediately to a gunsmith and have all that work done to it. My Rock Island...

What Would You Pay Colt 1911 ?

The RIA was just one example. The Rugar SR1911 is a better gun for the money, so is the Sig 1911 and probably the Remington( no first hand knowledge on the Remington).
